We won they lost and then compassion won again…

The night of the T-20 finals was kind of a first that I had seen. The match was brilliant. Our boys played one of their best games. And so did the South African boys.

But what was new for me were tears. Winning boys crying. Loosing boys crying. And then they meet and greet each other.

Winners with compassion for those who lost. Losers regaining their composure and respecting the win. What was pleasantly missing is unnecessary aggressive expression of winners. What was present was pure joy and compassion.

Rohit, I always admired but this win made me respect him more as a leader and also as human being.

When leaders show compassion and vulnerability, then I feel for a moment there is hope for this mad world. There is hope for humanity.

Loved it. Proud of this win 🏅 and the cup 🏆 boys brought home. Thanks for the entertainment and this special win. Take a bow RoKo and boys. You have been phenomenal
