The role of the Business Development Manager is sales and target focused. You will be responsible for securing new business and also maintaining an excellent level of customer service to current customers. And you remain up to date on industry trends, market activities and of course the competition.

KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS YOU WILL NEED

An enthusiastic and a positive attitude
You must be very comfortable with growth, change and have an entrepreneurial attitude to the future
Competency in English language - written and spoken - is essential, as well as diplomatic communication skills
Multifamily underwriting experience
Strong selling skills and ability to influence at all levels within external customers
Customer-orientation and empathy
Prospecting and presentation skills
Energy, creativity, and purposiveness
Ability to map out a customer, with all key decision makers
Contacts within the targeted customer base to schedule high level strategic meetings
Successful Sales Track Record with specifics on quota achievement, clients and deal sizes with high financial targets
Must be willing to travel as required
Having past experience in Real Estate will be added advantage.
