Poonch, May 22: A workersโ meeting of the Congress Party was held today at Dak Bungalow Poonch, where party leaders and workers gathered to discuss various pressing issues concerning the political and social situation in Jammu & Kashmir. The meeting witnessed active participation from party functionaries and supporters from different areas.
Addressing the gathering, Shahnawaz Choudhary strongly criticized the prevailing situation in Jammu & Kashmir and alleged that the rule of law is being undermined. He expressed serious concern over what he described as increasing violations of democratic values and constitutional principles in the region.
During his address, he stated that people are facing multiple challenges and emphasized the need to uphold justice, transparency, and democratic rights. He further urged authorities to ensure that governance remains accountable and in accordance with legal and constitutional frameworks.
The meeting also focused on strengthening party organization at the grassroots level and discussing future strategies to address public concerns. Several workers shared their views and highlighted issues affecting common citizens.
