District Election Officer Poonch appointed Nodal officers at the assembly level

Aug 12: National Conference president and former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah said he will contest the upcoming Assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir.

Farooq refused to announce constituency he would contest the elections from.

Abdullah hoped that the Election Commission will announce the poll dates by the end of this month.

This also bring the question , whether Farooq Abdullah will be Party's face for Chief Minister , if NC comes to power?

Pertinent to mention that NC vice president Omar Abdullah , who remained Chief Minister from 2008 to 2014 , has reitereated that he will contest Assembly Eelctions till J&K is Union Territory.
