While directing Dance Bar (inspired by true events), I realized something —
the most complicated lives often look the most normal from the outside.
A marriage people admire…
A smile everyone believes…
A “happy life” that might actually be silent pain.
We see people every day.
We assume.
We judge.
But we rarely know the full story.
This project made me question how quickly we label others without understanding what they’re carrying inside.
I feel grateful to have worked with such honest and committed artists — Sudhanshu Pandey, Poonam Pandey, Niyati Fatnani — and my DOP Anil Singh, who brought depth and truth to every frame.
No loud claims.
No judgments.
Just a story that might make you pause… before judging someone else.

This series tells the story of a couple where, in a week of anger, the husband utters “Talaq” three times, and in that one moment, a relationship comes to an end.
Is it right? Could it have been avoided? What could have been done differently?
Through this poignant and beautifully told story, you will witness the pain, struggle, and resilience of a woman — a journey so powerful that it will make you question the word Halala and feel the weight of its impact.
