Job Summary:
Lead and grow the Coastal & Multimodal Logistics business for Dry Cargo by driving business development, chartering, and marine operations. Responsible for revenue growth, vessel deployment, cost control, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
• Drive business development and increase dry cargo volumes and revenue.
• Develop client relationships and secure long-term coastal contracts.
• Source and charter coastal vessels (Time/Voyage/Spot).
• Negotiate charter party terms, freight rates, and commercial conditions.
• Oversee vessel operations, voyage planning, and performance.
• Coordinate with ports, terminals, stevedores, and marine agents.
• Ensure compliance with DG Shipping, cabotage laws, and maritime regulations.
• Control voyage costs, manage demurrage/despatch and operational claims.
• Provide MIS on revenue, vessel utilization, profitability, and operations.

Key Requirements
• Degree in Maritime Studies, Shipping Management, Logistics, or related field.
• 10–15 years’ experience in coastal chartering and dry cargo marine operations with business development exposure.
• Strong network with cargo owners, brokers, and vessel owners.
• Sound knowledge of chartering, port operations, and Indian coastal regulations.
• Strong commercial, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, ERP, and vessel tracking systems.
Preferred
• Experience in handling dry bulk cargo (coal, cement, clinker, minerals, steel, etc.).
• Marine or port agency background is an advantage.
