Responsibilities

Develops procedures and scripts for data migration from 2008 to 2019 versions

Can develop, implement, optimizes stored procedures & functions, if required.

Migrate Store procedures, accounts, triggers and functions from one SQL server version to the new SQL version

Analyses existing SQL queries for performance improvements.

MS SQL database administration hosted on the standalone instance, Always ON, and cluster environment

Detailed planning & migration of MS SQL database from 2008, 2012, SQL server to MS SQL latest version(Clustered/Standalone/AlwaysON.

Possess extensive experience in migrating SQL server from On-premise to GCP SQL server VM instance.

Support & troubleshoot post SQL migration activities.

Develop a detailed SQL database migration runbook to cover the Pre-migration, Migration, Post Migration and Rollback activities.

Troubleshoots problems with SQL, database design, APIs, interactions.
