Ladakh Rural Livelihood Mission
10/03/2026
Two SHG women from the remote regions of Zanskar and Hanu in Ladakh were honoured with the opportunity to visit Amrit Udyan at Rashtrapati Bhavan as special guests of the Ministry of Rural Development.
This memorable experience brought them together with rural women from across the country, offering a platform for interaction, learning, and sharing experiences. The visit allowed the SHG members to explore the beautiful gardens of Amrit Udyan and connect with fellow women leaders representing different states of India.
For the women of Ladakh, especially from such remote regions, this opportunity was not only a moment of pride but also an inspiring experience that celebrates the strength and spirit of rural women under the Self Help Group movement.
