Body Acts Rasa
24/03/2026
Sharing this beautiful moment from our Greek Tragedy Lab — a workshop that was intense, immersive, and deeply fulfilling. As a facilitator, it was a joy to explore with the actors the language of movement, gesture, voice, and the emotional architecture of Greek tragedy.
We concluded with a powerful scene work, where all the learning came alive on the floor. Grateful to work with such a talented, hardworking, and attentive group — your commitment made this journey truly special.

A Transformative Immersion for Actors
Module - A Collaborstive Process
Set against the ancient, rugged, and deeply mysterious landscape of Hampi, my workshop Body • Acts • Rasa offers actors a rare opportunity to rediscover the roots of performance through body, breath, impulse, and emotion. For me, Hampi is not just a location—it is a living organism, a textured terrain that naturally awakens the performer’s senses, grounding them in presence and allowing their bodies to respond with authenticity.
The workshop focuses on the elemental relationship between physicality and emotion. Through a collaborative process , improvisations, traditional theatrical principles, and outdoor explorations, the participants are guided to understand Rasa not as something to “play,” but as something that emerges when the body opens its channels. My methodology gently breaks habitual patterns, inviting actors to work with spontaneity, instinct, and vulnerability.
Participants often describe the experience as deeply freeing—where the body becomes the first script, the environment becomes the partner, and the actor begins to perform not from technique alone, but from a state of embodied truth. For actors seeking clarity, depth, emotional precision, or a renewed artistic connection, Body Acts Rasa becomes an invaluable journey.
