Today, on the 1st anniversary of _Operation Sindoor_ we bow our heads in reverence to the unmatched valor and sacrifice of our brave security forces.

Launched in response to the cowardly terrorist attack on our sisters, this decisive operation reaffirmed Bharat’s uncompromising resolve — that the _sindoor_ of our mothers and sisters is sacred, and any evil eye cast upon it will be answered with strength.

We pay our heartfelt _Shraddhanjali_ to the martyrs and salute the courage of our forces who safeguarded the nation’s honor.
The message is clear: _New India does not forgive, and does not forget._

Visited a Kashmiri mechanical engineer in Doda who has been running his workshop here for 3 decades.
His workplace was badly damaged in the recent landslide, resulting in heavy losses.
Assured him of every possible support from the administration for relief and rehabilitation. Our skilled workforce is the backbone of _Aatmanirbhar Bharat_ — we must stand with them in times of crisis.

On this day, 4th May 1998, the soil of Dessa was sanctified by the supreme sacrifice of nine of her brave sons in a cowardly terrorist attack.

Their indomitable courage and devotion to _Maa Bharti_ shall remain an eternal source of inspiration for generations. The nation bows in reverence to their valor.

I pay my most solemn tributes to these immortal martyrs. Their sacrifice will never be forgotten.
