Mukesh Singh assumes charge as Manipur DGP
IMPHAL: IPS officer Mukesh Singh on Monday assumed charge of the Manipur director general of police, an official statement said.
Singh was accorded a guard of honour by Manipur Police at its headquarters at Mantripukhri in Imphal East district.
He replaced Rajiv Singh, a 1993-batch Tripura-cadre IPS officer, who took charge of the Manipur Police chief at the height of ethnic conflict in June 2023.
