Senior JKAP leader and Provincial Secretary, Ab Rashid Bhat, has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the demise of Mohd Sultan War, a respected resident of Batergam, Kupwara.

In his condolence message, Ab Rashid Bhat said that the deceased was a noble and respected figure in the community, and his passing has created a void that is difficult to fill. He extended his heartfelt sympathies with the bereaved family, particularly with Zahoor Sultan (Sharbeen), Yahya Sultan (Correspondent News18 Kupwara), M***i Musa Kashmiri (Islamic Scholar).

He prayed that Almighty Allah grant the departed soul the highest place in Jannat-ul-Firdous and bestow patience and strength upon the family to bear this irreparable loss.

Ab Rashid Bhat, Senior Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party leader and Provincial Secretary, appeals to Finance Minister, Home Minister of India, LG J&K Manoj Sinha, and CM Omar Abdullah to release pending salaries of employees, casual labourers, SPOs, health workers & contractors’ bills before Eid al-Fitr.
He urged immediate action, stating that delays are causing serious hardships and people deserve relief ahead of the festival.

Ab Rashid Bhat has expressed serious concern over the ongoing protest by PHE contractors in Handwara whose payments have reportedly been pending since 2019.
He urged Jal Shakti Minister Javed Rana to immediately intervene and ensure the swift release of the contractors’ long-pending dues, highlighting the hardships faced by them due to the delay.
Bhat said the genuine grievances of the contractors should be addressed without further delay so that justice is delivered

Ab Rashid Bhat Extends Greetings on the Auspicious Occasion of Shab-e-Mehraj

Senior leader of Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party (JKAP) and Provisional Secretary, Ab Rashid Bhat, has extended warm greetings to the people of Jammu and Kashmir on the sacred occasion of Shab-e-Mehraj.
In his message, Ab Rashid Bhat said that Shab-e-Mehraj, the blessed night marking the miraculous journey of Mehraj-un-Nabi (ﷺ), reminds us of faith, patience, humility, and obedience to Almighty Allah. He emphasized that this holy night is an opportunity for introspection, seeking forgiveness, and strengthening our bond with Allah through prayers and good deeds.
He prayed for peace, prosperity, and harmony in Jammu and Kashmir and urged people to promote unity, brotherhood, and compassion in society. He also appealed to the youth to follow the teachings of Islam, which guide humanity towards truth, justice, and righteousness.
“May Allah accept our prayers, forgive our sins, and shower His mercy upon all of us. May this blessed night bring peace to every household and strengthen the spirit of brotherhood among the people,” he said.
