A temple is place of worship, its not a picnic spot. Its space of faith, discipline, and devotion. We have seen Sanatan Aastha (सनातन आस्था ) and its very symbols are attacked quiet often. It's because its easy, and has no repercussions to it. By very nature Sanatan is inclusive and benevolent.
Sanatan emphasizes on -
अयं निजः परो वेति गणना लघुचेतसाम्।
उदारचरितानां तु वसुधैव कुटुम्बकम्॥
Translation:
"This is mine, that is his, say the small-minded. The wise believe that the entire world is a family".
Sanatan's generosity is considered it's weakness. Desecration of temples and forced entry are extention to the same phenomenon.
Entry into a mandir is not just about physical access - it is about respect for its traditions. You cannot claim rights while disregarding the very beliefs that define the place.
No faith system survives without maryada (boundaries). No sacred space retains dignity without decorum.
धर्मो रक्षति रक्षितः
(Dharmo rakṣati rakṣitaḥ) - Manusmriti
Meaning:
Dharma protects those who protect it.
When we uphold boundaries, values, and sanctity, they in turn preserve our society and order.
And yes, attire matters:
What you wear casually elsewhere is not always appropriate before a deity. Dressing respectfully is expression of your devotion.
Respect is the minimum offering, when you enter a temple premises.

Truthfulness is fighting against injustice (अधर्म):
Dharma (धर्म - righteousness) requires active fight against adharma (अधर्म -
unrighteousness). The two major deities - Shri Krishna (in the Mahabharata) and Shri Rama (in the Ramayana) set examples -
Shri Krishna’s in Gita:
In the Gita, Krishna tells Arjuna that failing to fight against adharma is a form of adharma itself, and choosing inaction in the face of moral conflict is not virtuous, but dangerous.
Shri Rama in Ramayana:
Set an example by killing Ravana. Our tradition emphasizes dharma-yuddha (righteous warfare). When adharmic forces gather strength, the dharmic must stand firm and fight; inaction is considered a sin or a dereliction of duty.
Overcoming Inertia:
The Gita explains that "nobody can remain inactive" and that "action is better than inaction".
The Warning:
Inaction in the face of injustice is seen as complicity, where staying silent is not peace, but a failure of dharma.
The call to action in Hindu philosophy is to stand up, act with integrity, stand with Satya (Truthfulness - सत्य).

Do you believe Goa began with the Portuguese? nah! But that’s what our textbooks told us. Goa was once Gomahtak - the land of Sanatan and sacred Kashi of south.
Long before colonial rule, Goa - known as Gomantak - was a thriving land of Sanātana Sanskrti. It was a sacred land, often called the “Kashi of the West,” rich in culture, temples, and spiritual heritage.
Then came the Portuguese missionaries.
What followed was not just colonization, but a systematic attempt to reshape identity. Temples were destroyed, traditions suppressed, and Sanatani were driven out, behaded. Conversions were carried out by force / by pressure.
And when that wasn’t enough, the Inquisition began.
For nearly 250 years, from the 16th century until 1812, Goa witnessed one of the bloodiest religious enforcement regimes in history. Sanatan practices were discouraged, dissent was punished, and fear became a tool of control.
But Sanatani did not surrender easily.
History records hundreds of sanatani revolts - a relentless resistance by the people to protect their roots, their faith, and their identity i.e. Sanātana Dharma.
Goa is not just a story of colonization.
It is a story of gore and resilience.

Namita Thapar's statement on Namaz:
Islam ☪️ is relatively new Ideology, than all other religions. It has borrowed a lot from its predecessors. Islam is full of contradictions, initial phase of Islam was liberal, when it was trying to attract followers of other faiths'. Second part of Islam begin when Islam gained full dominance in region. In this phase Mohammad fully resorted on dictatorship, violence, extortion and forced conversion.
As a Hindu 🕉 if we lack the depth of Dharma, its our fault. It's our obligation to know about our Dharma. The ideological depth of Sanatan is immense. We should not praise something blindly.
This is where Namita Thapar made a huge mistake.
सर्व धर्म समभाव is our philosophy, but at the same time नीर-क्षीर विवेक is our duty, Fighting against Adharma is also advised. If praises Namaz, she should give credit to the original proponent (Yoga) and not to the copy cat.
The physical and spiritual "DNA" of Namaz is borrowed from Yoga. Here’s why:
🕉 The Names: The word Namaz shares the same root as Namaste - It mean "to bow" or "offer reverence."
🕉 The Postures: The flow of Namaz mirrors classic Yoga poses (Asanas) that have been used by our sages to heal the body:
1. Qiyam = Tadasana (Balance & Posture)
2. Ruku = Ardha Uttanasana (Back & Kidney health)
3. Sujood = Balasana (Stress relief & Brain blood flow)
4. Julus = Vajrasana (Digestion & Detox)
🕉 The Vibe: Namaz is heavily inspired by Yoga with same goal: quiet the noise, breathe deep, and connect with the Divine.
It's sad to see, she failed to draw parallels and giving credit to Islamic practice who borrowed it from Yoga. It's cultural crime.
