Amazing feat by Moien Ud Din who successfully completed tosamaidan ride. Details as under:

Started at 5:14 in the morning.

Ascending Route:Adina- Aripathan- Beerwah- Bon Zanigam -Kangripora-Lachman Pora- Lassipora-Sitaharan-Shalikan -
Tosamaidan.

Descending Route: Tosamaidan- Shaliken-Sitaharan- Drung--Khag-Hardisoresh-Kanfhama- Aripathan-Adina.

Reached Tosamaidan :12pm

Total Distance Covered: 80 km

Total Elevation: 3137m

Elevation Gain: 1976m

Kashmir Backpackers Virtual Cyclothon 2023 has completed successfully. We received overwhelming response from the public. People from all walks appreciated our move and pledged support in future. Speaking on the event, Manager KBP -MTB wing thanked all participants for making this event successful.

Total entries received = 39
Men's Elite : 25 received, 17 participated
Kids Go: 10 received , 6 participated
Go Girls: 5 received, 2 participated
Total distance covered by all Cyclists: 2550 Kms
Maximum ride by a single Cyclist : 375 kms .
Winners
Winner in Go kids category =Joint winners MOHAMMAD ASIM with 18 Km ride from rasreypora Pattan and MIR IBAAD UR REHMAN from Seeru pattan.

Winner Men's Elite Category= Moien Ud Din from Adina Magam with 202 Km ride. Route used : Magam, Baramulla, Sopore Bandipora, Mansbal, Ganderbal, Dal lake , HMT, Magam.

Runner Up: Mudasir Bashir Shah (2nd) from Baramulla with 82 Kms

AABID FAYAZ (3rd) from HMT with 67 Kms

Max altitude gained in single ride: above 3000 metres by Bhat Imtiyaz
2456 metres by MUDASIR BASHIR SHAH
Gender response : 86 percent males
14 percent females

Three, participants will get e-certificates and books, winners prizes! You have nothing to loose except SLOTH and some FATS.

Four, Safety is paramount. Please take necessary precautions while riding, follow rules of road and use proper safety gear!

Five, It is not a RACE! Maximum distance irrespective of time duration will determine winners! So no need to speed up and jeopardize your safety!
