Raamiyas - A desire to take a long-standing textile practice and make it relevant to modern women who still love sarees.

Craftsmanship to us isn’t archival or historical. It is living, everyday, and current. It brings us to much joy to work with brands who has similar vision, one such was .in by shakuntala, brought to us by .shree

Our work was to bring that intent to life as a complete visual identity - giving Raamiyas a distinctive visual language, a form, and a presence, without making it feel loud or unfamiliar.

We thoroughly loved working on the Brand identity for Raamiyas .shree!

Did you know that letter spacing affects readability and legibility? What about font color? And size?

Typography, the art of arranging type, is arguably the most important pillar in design. And one of its main purposes is to provide basic, easy to scan hierarchy that helps people find what they need quickly and easily.

Different scale, magnitude and placement of fonts all contribute to reading outcome, as well as density of type on a page.

A few examples are below:

when want you to read something slowly and carefully, for example a legal document, they'll use smaller fonts on larger-scale elements.

Great Old Master paintings, as well as modern graphic design, all adhere to principles of proportion that keep compositions beautifully balanced. Small detail and textural emotions are often balanced with attention to scale, size and place!
