The Netaji Subhash Scout Group successfully organised a Messengers of Peace (MOP) programme at Basirhat Railway Station during the night hours. The main objective of the programme was to serve the needy and underprivileged people who live by the roadside and struggle to get daily food.

Under the leadership and guidance of the Scout Group, the members took the initiative to cook food on their own with great enthusiasm and dedication. After the preparation, the freshly cooked meals were distributed among the poor and helpless people who were found at the station premises.

The event became more lively with the presence and cooperation of distinguished guests - former Chairman of Basirhat Local Association Gazi Mustafa Firoz (Milon Da) and DC (HQ) Mr. Roopak Basu. Also, without whose help from the beginning to the end of the event it would not have been possible to complete it, is Mr. Subrata Dey, NSSG Group GLS. Their guidance, inspiration and support motivated the Scouts and Guides and made the event a smooth one.

আজ "রাখি পূর্ণিমা" উপলক্ষে *নেতাজি সুভাষ স্কাউট এন্ড গাইড গ্রুপ* রাখি বন্ধন উৎসব পালন করলো বসিরহাট ঘোচাডাঙ্গা বর্ডার সিকিউরিটি ফোর্স এবং বসিরহাট বিডিও ও এসডিও অফিস এর সকল কর্মীদের সথে । উপস্তিত ছিল বসিরহাট লোকাল এসোসিয়েশন এর সেক্রেটারি এবং নেতাজি সুভাষ স্কাউট এন্ড গাইড গ্রুপ এর লিডার ও স্কাউট গাইডরা ।।
