CEA ha issued Norms for Annual Contracted Quantity (ACQ) of coal for Thermal Power Plants to be effective from 14.07.2021.

The quantity consider the effect of Total Moisture on GCV i.e. 5% excess quantity to be given based on difference between GCV(ARB) and GCV(EQB).

While Chinese domestic thermalcoal prices kept stable at northern transfer ports late last week, portside inventory that has been picking up for days seems to indicate the market may step onto the downward track soon.
