Being the Maiden maniacs that we are, we of course had to catch Burning Ambition on the big screen when it hit our city. Although most of it wasn't anything any true Maiden fan hasn't already seen or doesn't already know, it was cool as f**k to see a still image on the screen of Bruce wearing our t-shirt.

For those of you not in the know, here's a bit of a history lesson. We opened for Maiden way back in 2009 here in Bangalore and had the immense fortune of hanging out with them after the gig at their hotel. It goes without saying that they were total gentlemen and absolutely awesome to us, which is why you can see us grinning like numbskulls in these pictures.

We gave them a bunch of t-shirts before calling it a night and proceeded to pass out on the sidewalk in disbelief after it was all over.

Fast forward a few weeks, and people started sending us pictures of Bruce wearing our shirt when Maiden accepted the 2009 Brit Awards, and then more pics of him wearing our shirt in airports, posing with fans and while stepping off Ed Force One.

17 years later, it's still pretty surreal to see him in that shirt, and even more surprising that one of those pics made it to the documentary. Completely unexpected but absolutely f**king awesome.

And if you believe in coincidences and all that jazz, in the image from the movie, Bruce is holding a book about the Vulcan bomber and the shirt he's wearing is of our second album The Ark of Gemini, which also has a song called Vulcan.

Great memories and another massive reminder of why we still carry on doing what we do.
