The thing about recipes is that you can see, like adopt as well as innovate these. Likewise I came across this beautiful recipe of dal bhaate (boiled lentils) with chingri mach (prawns) from a channel on social media.
Now, I can only remember the recipe but not the channels name. If you have come across it too let me know so that I can give the due credit.
Anyhoo the original recipe called for roasted tomatoes and coriander leaves too. But I being a Musoor dal lover didn’t want to risk anymore of the dals taste than what minimal I could think of adding.
You are very much welcome to add more. I loved this version of the dal bhaate and enjoyed it with hot rice, ghee, omelette and jhuri aloo bhaja.
