March 3rd marks the annual World Wildlife Day, dedicated to promote the conservation of worldwide which we all take for granted. What better way to honor this special day than with a photo of the king of the animal kingdom taken at exactly two years ago to this day.

Normally, at this time of the year I travel to to witness and photograph the great of that pass through on their way to warmer regions.
Unfortunately, this year the birds are dealing with their own pandemic and access is restricted.
Thousands of birds have already died. Hopefully, the flock is strong enough to overcome the sickness that have plagued it in the last month or so, and that in the end of the year I would be able to witness the massive beauty of tens of thousands of birds travelling together.
Until that time would arrive, I would reminisce on past experiences such as the one attached.
