What does a maternity shoot at home actually look like?

Honestly… a lot like real life.

People sometimes imagine maternity photos as big dresses, dramatic cliffs, golden sunsets. And those are beautiful, don’t get us wrong. But there is something quietly special about photographing this chapter right where life is actually happening.

The place where you make coffee in the morning.
The couch where you fall asleep watching a movie.
The little corners that will soon be filled with baby blankets, bottles and very little sleep.

This session happened in their own home, in the middle of an ordinary day- with that calm anticipation that sits in the room when everyone knows life is about to change in the best possible way.

Just two people, their home, and the tiny human they’re about to meet.

And honestly… that’s more than enough. 🤍

[🇺🇸] At the invitation of His Excellency Laurenţiu-Mihai Ştefan, the Ambassador of Romania to Dublin, Emmanuphotography had the pleasure of attending this event last night. The ForestARIA project is a remarkable initiative, and it was an honour for us to be part of such a meaningful cultural moment here in Dublin.

It is truly inspiring to see the ConTempo ensemble celebrating 30 years of artistic excellence, a milestone that reflects dedication, passion, and an exceptional creative journey.
