RACING CANCELLED THIS SATURDAY 11TH JULY

Following a meeting earlier today, Rásaíocht Con Éireann (RCÉ)
/ Greyhound Racing Ireland has issued an update regarding racing and trial arrangements as warm weather conditions continue. All decisions are taken with the welfare and care of racing greyhounds into consideration.

Following its review of weather forecasts by Met Eireann (along with the recent Status Yellow Warning issued), and in conjunction with local racing officials, RCÉ has confirmed the following amendments to weekend racing schedules:

Saturday 11th July
Limerick Greyhound Stadium: Racing is cancelled

Greyhound owners and trainers are asked to refer to the guidance document “Caring for Greyhounds in Warm Weather” to ensure the continued welfare of their animals, a copy of which can be found on Talking Dogs along with this notice on https://bit.ly/4vjMXei
