Slane Post Office

Due to my retirement from the Post Office on Wednesday next,15th January,An Post will be closing the office at 3pm.Apologies for any inconvenience.The office will reopen on Thursday morning at 9am
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all my valued customers,neighbours and surrounding communities for their support over the last 29 years.
To Helena,for her commitment,dedication,dependability and hard work for 25years,thank you so very much👏👏👏.A good friend and colleague .I am delighted that she will be at the counter as usual on Thursday morning.To my temporary assistants over recent years,Jackie and Colette,thank you also.
The local Postmen,Tommy,Paul and Neil,thank you all for your help over the years.Much appreciated every day.
To my successor,Ali,who has secured the contract to keep the Post Office in the village,I congratulate him and wish him every success going forward.I know that the community will continue to support him and the business .It is a vital hub in our community,we all need ti use its services and keep it a viable business in the years ahead.
Finally,for my family and I,Wednesday next will indeed be the end of an era🥲However, new beginnings beckon.

Just a reminder that the office will be closed on Wednesday,NewYears Day,1st January 25.Payments due for collection on Wednesday can be collected tomorrow ,or left until whenever suits to collect .

The office is closing tomorrow at lunchtime and reopen the 30th December .I would like to take this opportunity to wish our customers, neighbours and friends a very Happy Christmas and New Year.Remembering also, all those who are no longer with us this year.🎄
