Congratulations to these group of lads that headed for maryland this morning. On a hot day and missing several due to illness and various injuries they worked their socks off from the first minute to the last and got their reward in the end.

A special mention to Tristan who won the player of the sheild for his standout performance. Thanks to the coaches for steering them through and to the parents and supporters who attended. Thanks to Maryland/Tang Underage GAA for a fantastic event.

Inny Shamrocks were honoured to be invited to a memorial match in Castletown Finea Coole Whitehall in memory of Ned Flynn. It was a wonderful occasion from start to finish, matched by a wonderful game of ball played in fantastic weather. A great turnout on both sides, and a real credit to everyone involved in organising the day. We thank CFCW sincerely for the invite and for such a warm welcome.

Fittingly, the match fell on the same day as Tony Maher's anniversary, another great stalwart clubman for Ballynacargy who gave so much of himself to the underage game over the years. Days like this are a reminder of what both men meant to their clubs and to football in the area more generally. Both embodied everything that community and underage football represent to every GAA club around the country. The volunteers, the coaches, the small acts that keep a clubs alive long after they're gone.

This Saturday, 18th July, our Inny Shamrocks U12s have been invited to Castletown Finea to take on CFCW U12s in a special memorial football game.

CFCW was part of the original Inny Shamrocks, with the late Ned Flynn playing a significant role in that proud history. The day will celebrate his lasting contribution with the unveiling of the Ned Flynn Memorial Plaque, while the Delaney Cup will also be on display.

Following the match, Ronan Wallace will present the medals and the Ned Flynn cup to the winning team.

Food and refreshments will be available on the day.

A brilliant game from start to finish in the heat, with both sides putting in a serious shift out on the pitch. Great credit to all the lads for the effort and quality on show 👏

Well done to Inny Shamrocks under 14s who played away to Multyfarnham Gaa this evening in the second round of the under 14 championship. Short some of our regulars, it was a good opportunity for other players to get valuable game time. Congratulations to Multy who ran out deserving winners on the night. 💛💙🤍

A fantastic day out for our Under 12s in Cusack Park today.
After a late change to the fixtures, our lads found themselves taking on Division 1 opposition for the second year running. It was always going to be a huge challenge, but they showed incredible heart, determination and never stopped battling until the final whistle.
A special mention to our Under 10 players from Bunbrosna and Ballynacargy who stepped up today and gained valuable experience at this level. These are the days that help young players grow and develop.

The lads should be very proud of themselves. Keep your heads held high – your hard work, effort and team spirit were there for everyone to see. We even managed to get a team photo with the Delaney Cup.
