A reminder to qualifiers for Fleadh na Mumhan in the Under 12, 12–15 and 15–18 age-groups in the following competitions: Fiddle Slow Airs, Flute Slow Airs, Whistle Slow Airs, Harp Slow Airs, Irish Singing and English Singing.

Competitors who were awarded 1st, 2nd or 3rd place (recommended) in these competitions at their recent County Fleadh have received a scholarship to attend the Munster Scoil Fonn Workshops, which will take place in Lismore on Thursday, 16 July, as part of Fleadh Cheoil na Mumhan.

We are keen to see as many scholarship recipients as possible avail of this wonderful opportunity. The workshops will be delivered by an exceptional panel of tutors with expertise in slow air playing and traditional singing: Seán Ó Fearghail, Sinéad Fahey, Iona Ritchie, Tríona Ní Shíochaín (Waterford), Louise Keating (Cork) and Gráinne Fitzgibbon (Limerick).
