The Officers and Committee members of Cappamore Show are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of a former member and volunteer Mr Joe O'Gorman. Joe was a member of Cappamore Show from 1964 until 1998. In those years he supported the Committee as Assistant Secretary. On Show Day Joe supported the Horse Section of the Show. We will miss Joe as a former member and a great neighbour. Our sincere sympathies to his loving wife Nuala, his sisters Anne O’Donovan, Rita Roche & Agatha Smith, and his brother-in-law Jerry Duggan. It is with deep sadness that the Board of the Irish Shows Association has learned of the passing of Margaret Gleeson (Nee Powell), who passed away last night.

Margaret served with distinction as a member of the ISA Board from 1987 to 1994, giving generously of her time and experience. She remained a loyal supporter of the Association and of the agricultural show movement throughout her life. Her commitment, kindness and friendship were greatly appreciated by all who had the privilege of working with her.

On behalf of the Board of the Irish Shows Association, we extend our heartfelt sympathies to Margaret's family, her neighbours, her many friends, and to all in the Cappamore Show Committee who mourn her passing.

May she rest in peace. 🕯
