A few pictures from Bickley Music Camp at the end of May. Delighted to have been asked to teach, and had the most amazing wee class, 3 tunes in an hour and a half (plus a tea break!)

I have neglected my Facebook a lot in the past month, but am happy to announce that 1. I have a lovely shiny website, and 2. (available on this website) I have released a taster of a tune archive of common session tunes I have come across through the years.
When you're at a session and someone asks you to play a set of tunes, you blank, or stress that nobody will play along- this selection of tunes will (hopefully) quash those fears. Obviously, play what you want, but the tunes i've put into sets seem to be ones people have known anywhere I've gone.
And they're all in one handy place for you!

Hi guys! I was debating sharing, but I think I should.
I made the move to Australia on Tuesday, but was met with a bit of a disappointing experience in Dublin airport when travelling with the fiddle.
Granted, it's been a year or so since I have flown with my fiddle, but the way security handled my fiddle was honestly frightening. Not asking to open the case, yanking it from the case without undoing the strap on the neck, pulling bits and pieces out from underneath, just generally being a bit careless. I said to be gentle after a bit of this, but I was told by her she was one of the more gentle ones.
Pure and utter madness. I've written to Dublin airport about it, will follow up with their response. But just to my music friends to be careful when going through T2 with instruments 🥲
