This year had moments where the lights felt like they were fading.
Where the music stopped being about the crowd and became about the quietest, hardest fight of my life.

Cancer tries to take a lot from you.
Your energy. Your confidence. Your future.
There were days it came close.
But music, and the people who stood by me, kept reminding me who I am.
And that was enough.

Sitting here on Christmas Eve with a few more scars and a lot more clarity,
the tree lit and the house finally quiet,
I’m filled with gratitude.
For the breath in my lungs.
For the chance to keep doing what I love.
For the noise we’ve made together this year.

Nothing is guaranteed.
But this year taught me that showing up, even on the hardest days, changes everything.

To anyone spending tonight in the quiet,
fighting their own battle or finding their way back to the light,
I see you.
Hold close the people who held you up when you couldn’t stand.

The beats will be back very soon.
Castlebar and Killarney, I can’t wait.
For now, I’m soaking in the silence.
