Beautiful boy Sparky, has settled so well into foster, that we feel he is able to go to his new forever home very soon.
Sparky is great with people and other dogs. Super friendly and a real sweetheart.
Dog savvy children only please, and no cats or chickens!!
Sparky is 4 years old, he has been neutered, and his vaccinations are started , including rabies.
Sparky will still need some help with his toilet training, and his new family must be prepared for that.
We think Sparky will make a wonderful companion, but as ever please do your breed research. Collies need an active home, where mental as well as physical stimulation is provided.

Timmy and his friend Sparky came into the rescue this week.
They were neutered and their vaccinations were started.
It soon became apparent that Timmy had a problem with his sight.
He's only 2 years old , but sadly has retinol atrophy, which is untreatable, and will ultimately lead to him being completely blind.
However, Timmy has gone into foster, and he is coping well with his limited vision, and finding his way about just fine.
He is a very sweet affectionate boy, who is great with other dogs, and pays no attention to the cats.
Timmy is underweight and needs fattening up, we'll give him all the time he needs before we look for his perfect home!

I'm a 13 week old tri colour male Collie pup.
I've come into the rescue with my sister Kate, but she's already reserved to a home in the UK!
I'm very sweet and friendly. I come from a working sheep farm and both my parents are good working dogs.
I'm looking for an active family/person who will take me to puppy classes, help me with toilet training and have done their breed research.
I will need mental as well as physical stimulation, and then I can develop into the best boy!!
I started my vaccinations today including rabies.

Little Alfie has come into the rescue after his owner sadly passed away.
Alfie is a 10 year old , neutered Westie, and all his vet work is up to date.
Alfie enjoys going for walks and is good with other dogs.
Alfie can be grumpy when he wakes up and needs his own space for a few minutes. He also is protective of his food and treats.
Just a typical grumpy old man at times, but for the majority of the time he is a happy, affectionate little dog!
Dog savvy cats, but no children please for this little man.

Ben, Cassie and little Ruby, who were all very popular on our page, travelled overnight to their new homes in the UK.
They were a pleasure to drive over, so well behaved, yet again a real credit to their fosterers, Susann O'Sullivan Daly , and Emmaline Turner and Paudie O Keeffe . Wonderful foster homes make the rescue what it is and we can't thank them enough.
Now you be good little dogs and make us all proud!!!🥰😍🥰

Sweet little kittens have just come into the rescue.

This young ginger tom cat, has been found straying around the Gortamullen area of Kenmare.
He is safe with his finder, and is a gentle sweet cat, who knows about using a litter tray.

Two more beautiful Collies, coming to us on the 10th of June.
Timmy, black and white, and Sparky, brown and white, are two farm dogs that didn't make the grade.
So they are coming into the rescue to get all their vet work done, and then go into foster to learn how to live as part of a family.
When we feel they are ready they will be put up for adoption. We never rush these dogs and give them all the love and time they need.🥰
Please no negative comments, the dogs are being handed into rescue in order to get them the homes they deserve.
