For over 65 years on the West Pier, we’ve watched the harbour change tide by tide. Less boats. More rules. More paperwork. And still the people behind the industry keep showing up at ridiculous o’clock to keep fresh Irish seafood on tables around the country.
You might agree with him. You might not. But nobody can say the man doesn’t speak from lived experience.
The conversation around the future of Irish fishing needs real voices in it — not just figures on a spreadsheet.
