This event is a collaboration between Smart D8, The Digital Hub and the Irish Heart Foundation, aimed at raising awareness of heart health and providing essential health checks to the community.

Why attend?
High blood pressure often goes unnoticed, yet 2 in 3 adults over 50 have it - many without realizing it. A simple check can help prevent serious health issues. That’s why the Irish Heart Foundation’s Mobile Health Unit is coming to The Digital Hub this April, offering free blood pressure and pulse checks to everyone in the community.

What to Expect:
~ Free blood pressure and pulse checks
~ Risk factor assessments
~ One-on-one personalized heart health advice from trained Irish Heart Foundation nurses
~ Tips to reduce your risk of heart disease and stroke

To make it extra special, Dublin City Council are calling on all volunteer groups to come out at the same time on the same day to help to clean-up Dublin City. Let’s get together to clean-up our streets, laneways, and canal walks and make Dublin a Fair City again.

April is also the month when the National Spring Clean 2025 takes place. Groups that register with an Taisce will be covered by their insurance for any clean ups done during the National Spring Clean. When registered it will also cover groups while they participate in The Team Dublin Clean-Up on Saturday the 26th of April.
