Here we have Turmeric infused fresh egg noodles served with blanched rockets with Turmeric curry potatoes and pork slices.

Summer is here – the Juicer in full throttle – lots of juice and lots of waste

What do you do with your scrapes from your vegetables and fruits juices?

Chef Photographer Agnese puts on her thinking cap and zero waste attitude to present you with:

Taaaa Daaaa….

Vegan Pakoras – delicious and nutritious – made from waste from your juicer and her Sourdough discards.

It is yummy, it is delicious and it is ZERO WASTE

Recipe :
Sourdough discards
Vegetable scrapes from juicer – beetroot, carrots and spinach
Combine together and add
Sufficient plain flour to make a thick batter
Salt & Pepper for flavour
Toast in a few handful of flaxseeds and sesame seeds for crunch
Add dice and sliced fresh onion for sweetness
Sprinkle garlic, paprika and chillies powder for a little kick.
Deep fried and serve with chilli jam.

It took 5 minutes to combine and another 15minutes to deepfried

It took another 5 minutes to wolf it all down.
