Castlepollard Community Games

For over 6 to u16s...multiple activities for kids such as draughts art, basketball, football, Athletics, Hurling etc..
But we need 🙋‍♂️ 🙋‍♀️ volunteers to make this happen for our area. We have had great success stories and many enjoyable memories over the years. Let's try and keep this going for the community. Please come along to help out. 🙏

Congratulations Andy McEoin on being nominated finalist in Westmeath Sports Awards
Best of luck in the final for the unsung hero award

Andy is definitely someone who does great deeds but receives little or no recognition for them.

Andy over the years has volunteered with Castlepollard Community Games, Whitehall Community Games, Streete Community Games, North Westmeath Athletics Club, assisted Belvedere Cross country run, Westmeath Community Games sports day and was part of Community games in Donegal to name but a few.

Over the years Andy would without hesitation step forward to set up for sports day which he could be there hours at. He would run athletics training after and before sports day to prepare children for competitions.

You can see from the photos attached, the joy he has brought to the children over the many years.

Andy is definitely a treasured volunteer, a pure kindhearted gentleman in our area who is selflessly always there to help out and we appreciate all he has done and wish him well in the Final
