Cast your mind back to 26 April — the day the heart of London shut down.

Nearly 60,000 runners. 800,000 spectators. The biggest marathon ever staged, and the day a runner broke the two-hour barrier for the first time in history. Roads closed across Westminster, police everywhere, “no stopping at any time.”

And parked right in the middle of it, under Big Ben? One of our coaches. 🚌

Look closely and count the rules in this one photo: Red Route. Road closed. Traffic control ahead. Holding area. London is the toughest city in Europe to move a coach through — and that was its most locked-down day of the entire year.

We were there anyway. 😉

Still smiling about this one. People know us from Milan, Rome, Barcelona and the Côte d’Azur — but our map runs all the way to Paris, Amsterdam and London.

🌿 Throwback Thursday

This bright green beast was one that started it all. Back in 2015 she became our very first Euro 5 coach, brought over from Germany, back when VDL still wore the Bova badge. We were a young company betting big on quality, and honestly we were a little obsessed with her. Washed her, polished her, took way too many photos.

After few years she’s moved on to a new owner, but here’s the part that made us smile. She’s still out there working every day, still going strong and still reliable.

Coaches come and go in this business, but some of them just stay with you. This one earned her place in our story.

Here’s to the green beast. Still turning heads, still turning wheels. 💚

Our Mercedes Sprinter made it all the way to the fjords — one of Europe’s most beautiful (and rainiest) corners. 🌧️⛰️

Driver’s POV at Coach Rental Group 🚌

☀️ Your greatest enemy today is the sun’s angle at 14:00. 📐

The group wants 20°C inside. The authorities won’t let you run the engine. The thermometer is laughing at you. And of course, when they return from sightseeing, they expect to step into a perfectly chilled bus — as if it has been sitting in a fridge the whole time. 🧊

So here’s the plan: hold my espresso, we’re going shadow hunting. 🌳🕶️

Update: located one (1) tree. Shade coverage: roughly one wing mirror. The other 12.9 metres of bus are now slow-roasting on the French Riviera. The espresso, however, was excellent. ☕🔥🚌

Professional coach driving is 10% driving, 90% strategic parking. 🌳⚔️

Five weeks, one Sprinter, and the whole of Scandinavia. 🇳🇴

What started in Copenhagen became a month-long adventure north — through Denmark and Sweden, all the way to Oslo and the Norwegian fjords beyond. Group after group, thousands of kilometres, ferries, mountain passes and those endless Nordic summer days.

Our Mercedes-Benz Sprinter and driver handled every twist of the journey, keeping each group safe and comfortable from the first morning to the last. ✨
