Woman in Cheongsam- The Hong Kong Traffic Pagoda, Austin Road /Jordan Road, Tsim Sha Tsui
The traditional gown, or cheongsam, brings out the best in Chinese fashion and feminine aesthetics. At the time, it was dominant choice of women and can be seen everywhere in the city. Traffic light has yet to be invented; at the crossroads, traffic towers play an important role in ensuring safety and traffic flow. Tsim Sha Tsim marks the starting point of Nathan Road. As time shifts, so does its architecture.

Woman in Cheongsam- Rickshaw, Central
The traditional gown, or cheongsam, was a woman’s dress-of-choice at the time. She likes to stroll around the city wearing one. It was a time before the rickshaw became ornamental. It was the preferred partner of a rickshaw driver, who awaits his next customer at the pier when he is not running around in the streets. Central, where old buildings are constantly being replaced by newer ones. The old scenes have become a distant memory found only on paper.
