Nakararanas ka ba na sa kusina o sa sahig ka pinatutulog? O kaya naman ay rasyon at kulang ang pagkain na ibinibigay sa'yo? Alamin ang Do's and Don'ts sa ilalim ng kontrata:

🟢 DO: Siguraduhing ibinibigay sa'yo ng employer ang libreng pagkain (Free Food) o kaya naman ay ang tamang Food Allowance na nakasaad sa batas buwan-buwan (kung ayaw mo ng pagkain nila). Dapat din ay may maayos at may pribadong espasyo ka para tulugan.

🔴 DON'T: Huwag mong tiisin kung pinapakain ka lang ng tirang pagkain o pinatutulog sa mga lugar na unsafe at walang privacy (gaya ng banyo o masikip na cabinet area).

📌 If you give your employer a 1-month resignation notice and they terminate you on the spot, your employer must legally pay you 1 month's wages in lieu of notice.

🇭🇰Under Hong Kong’s Employment Ordinance, once you submit your notice, the 1-month countdown begins. If your employer refuses to let you work out that month and dismisses you immediately, it is legally treated as an immediate termination by the employer. Unless you committed gross misconduct justifying a "summary dismissal" (such as fraud or physical violence), your employer cannot fire you on the spot without paying you for that notice period

⬇️What Your Employer Must Pay You Within 7 Days

By law, your employer must settle all final payments within 7 days of your on-the-spot dismissal. Your final payout must include

✔️1 month’s salary (payment in lieu of notice).
✔️Outstanding wages for the days you worked in the current month.
✔️ of untaken annual leave (pro-rata).
✔️A free return flight ticket back to your home country.
✔️Food and travel allowance for your journey home (usually HK$100 per day).
✔️Long service payment, if you have worked for the same employer for 5 years or more.

❗️File a claim if they refuse to pay❗️
: If your employer fails to give you the 1 month's notice pay or flight ticket within 7 days, go immediately to the nearest ⁠👉Labour Department Joint Office to file an official claim against them.
