π΄ || It is with deep sadness and a heavy heart that we extend our sincere condolences on the passing of Mr. Clement Adams, Labour Officer of Port Kaituma, Region 1
Mr. Adams was a dedicated public servant who contributed meaningfully to the development of our region and the well-being of its people. His commitment to duty, professionalism, and service to others earned him the respect and admiration of many who had the privilege of working alongside him.
At this difficult time, we join with his wife Mrs. Bernice Adams, family, friends, colleagues, and the wider Port Kaituma community in mourning his loss. We pray that Almighty God grants strength and comfort to all who grieve and that the cherished memories of his life and service bring solace in the days ahead.
Life is a precious gift, yet it is often fragile and uncertain. While we mourn the loss of a dedicated son of Region One, we take comfort in the words of our Lord: βI am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live.β (John 11:25)
May the soul of Mr. Clement Adams rest in eternal peace, and may perpetual light shine upon him.

π· || π¬πΎ As we proudly celebrate the 60th Anniversary of Guyanaβs Independence, I extend heartfelt greetings to the people of Region One and all Guyanese at home and abroad.
This Diamond Jubilee is a proud reminder of our journey as a nation, a journey marked by resilience, sacrifice, unity, and progress. Sixty years ago, our foreparents envisioned a free and independent Guyana where every citizen would have the opportunity to contribute to nation-building and national development.
Today, as one people, one nation, one destiny, let us continue to work together in unity, peace, and patriotism for the betterment of our beloved country. May we remain inspired by the spirit of One Guyana as we build stronger communities and a brighter future for generations to come.
Happy 60th Independence Anniversary, Guyana!
May God continue to bless our beautiful nation.
