⚓️ One of the most inspiring moments of was the conference "Adopt a Ship: How Early Education is Changing the Future of Shipping – Raising the Maritime Workforce of 2036."

The session highlighted the growing impact of the Adopt a Ship educational programme by Project Connect, which introduces maritime education to primary and secondary school students and helps young people discover the opportunities offered by the shipping industry from an early age.

A particularly meaningful moment was the recognition of the teachers and captains who have embraced the programme and are helping bring the world of shipping into classrooms. INTERCARGO Chairman John Xylas and representatives of the Union of Greek Shipowners /Ένωσις Ελλήνων Εφοπλιστών honoured their contribution, acknowledging the vital role they play in inspiring the next generation of maritime professionals.

⚽️ The Posidonia Shipsoccer Tournament, with 32 teams of shipping executives competing in a fast-paced 5x5 format, delivered exciting action on the pitch before concluding with an awards ceremony and reception celebrating all participants and the winning teams.
