Today, we're hitting the streets of Athens to ask locals and tourists alike what they think of the so-called refugee and migrant crisis, what they are worried about this coming year, and what an increasingly diverse Greece hopes to be its future. Oh, and Obama is here. Good timing for these two Americans.

Good morning, Berlin. Like you, we woke up to the results of the regional vote for our dear city-state and were saddened by the 's success. With 14% of the vote in a divided docket, the right-wing (xenophobic) party challenges the ranks of Berlin's traditional party structure. It also points to a persistent cleft between East and West in the city, as this map demonstrates.

We have work to do. For us, it starts with more inclusive storytelling.
