The 4th General Assembly took place on 14–15 October 2025 in St-Blaise, Switzerland, hosted by our partner Alpes Lasers.

A true highlight of the meeting was the presentation by Empa- Mechanics of Materials & Nanostructures of the multi-pass gas cell prototype – a key optical component designed to maximise measurement precision in breath analysis. This innovation marks a significant milestone in the development of the VOCORDER device.

The meeting brought together all project partners to discuss crucial topics — from preparations for the upcoming 2nd project review to planning the next stages of clinical trials and system integration. Technical discussions focused on ensuring seamless collaboration between hardware, AI, and medical partners, creating solutions that bring the project closer to real-world impact.

💡The partners’ strong teamwork and commitment continue to drive VOCORDER forward — developing technology that one day enables early detection of diseases such as cancer through non-invasive breath analysis, improving lives and transforming healthcare.

We are pleased to announce that the 3rd VOCORDER General Assembly will take place on April 8-9, 2025, in Vilnius, Lithuania!

During the meeting, WP leaders will present their progress, share insights, and lead discussions on critical topics, including:

VOCORDER project kick-off meeting took place on 16-17 October 2023 at the MITERA Hospital in Athens, Greece. This event marks the beginning of an exciting journey in health innovation.
The agenda was packed starting with introductions from project partners, followed by and technical roadmap, including key milestones and innovation challenges and detailed discussions on each Work Package and the scientific.
