Last week, one of our students who regularly attends the A1 (beginner) class stayed late to help teach other students the alphabet.

It’s amazing to see people generously giving their time and efforts to support each other in language learning across the community at Sama! 🧑‍🏫🌿

We are ELNOR, a U.S. 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We equip asylum-seeking and refugee adults with high-quality, free online English language education and professional development. ELNOR has served over 1080 students since we started our classes in 2021. 🌍👩‍🏫

We are excited to announce that ELNOR is hosting our fourth annual conference online, “From Languages to Livelihoods: Community, Resilience, and Market Integration” on Oct 16, 2025 at 12pm USA EST | 5pm UK | 7pm Greece. 🌍

This year’s event is unique because every panel and presentation will be led by refugee students themselves, sharing insights from their journeys of learning, resilience, and preparing as job seekers. We hope to see you there! 💙
