Lessons From Blind Bartimaeus
Persistent Faith:

Overcoming Obstacles:
He refused to let the crowd or his blindness stop him from pursuing Jesus
Bold Action:
Bartimaeus demonstrated his belief by throwing aside his cloak, and jumping up to meet Jesus.
Speak Your Needs to God:
Jesus asked Bartimaeus what he wanted, showing that we should be specific in our prayers and voice our faith to God.
Focus on God, Not the Crowd:
Bartimaeus understood that Jesus's attention mattered more than anyone else's. He ignored the negative voices of the crowd to focus on his encounter with Jesus.
Gratitude in Action:
When he received his sight, Bartimaeus immediately praised God and then began to follow Jesus showing that true transformation leads to discipleship.
