Dear Wodemaya i will like mobilize my fellow voluntarily youth to embark on Waste reduction educational campaign through reusing across the country. Since we have less resourses to manage our waste proper, it's good we reduce the generation to mitigate future consequences which will definately result from the high generation of waste particularly plastic waste.
It will be a dream come true Mr. Wodemaya.

This is the right time we take decisive action against waste generation in Africa as far as human existence on this earth is concerned.

Directly or Indirectly anything that supports the existence of man here depends on the environment, the air we breath, water we drink, food we eat, the dresses we wear, can't even mentioned all. Neglecting our sole responsibility of taking care of the environment does not only spoiled the environment but drastically reduces our livespan on this earth.

In many socities in Africa today, we still wait to be told, brutalize or sanction before we can handle our waste well despite the rapid increase in the literacy rate in Africa. "Education shouldn't be an avenue for accumulation of certificates so you can hand on a wall"--Julius Nyerere of Tanzania(1966). Education should turn you inside out so you can become a good instrument for social revolution, societal change and transformation.

We don't have to ignore these signs to see wonders, these signs are enough to take a proactive action.

First Symptom of being an educated person.
“First sign of being educated is the ability to handle waste properly” means that true education is not just about books or certificates, but about responsible behavior in everyday life. A truly educated person understands the importance of cleanliness, hygiene, and environmental care, and reflects this by disposing of waste correctly, avoiding littering, and encouraging others to do the same. Proper waste management shows discipline, awareness, and respect for one’s community and surroundings, because how we handle waste directly affects public health, the environment, and the quality of life for everyone. In this sense, education is proven through actions, and one of the simplest yet strongest signs of it is how well a person manages waste.
