You Have A Destiny

When I survey the wondrous cross
On which the Prince of Glory died,
My richest gain I count but loss,
And pour contempt on all my pride.
On this Good Friday, beloved, I want to talk to you on the theme: *"He was pierced for you."*
Beloved, you know, when you take the prophecy in Isaiah chapter 53, seven hundred years before it happened, the prophet Isaiah described how Jesus would die.
First, standing silent before His accusers (Isaiah 53:7). Second, hands and feet pierced (Isaiah 53:5). Third, hanging between two criminals (Isaiah 53:9). Fourth, buried in a rich man's tomb (Isaiah 53:9).
Isaiah also described why Jesus had to die. Beloved, He took the punishment you deserve so you could have peace with God. (Isaiah 53:4-6). His body was broken so your body will be made whole. Jesus died young so you will live long. He died as a sinner so you will live as the righteousness of God in Christ. In 2 Corinthians 5:21, it says, "He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, so we who knew no righteousness will become the righteousness of God in Christ."
And after that, Isaiah also saw beyond the cross. After all Jesus' pain, He rose from the grave. He knew that your salvation has been won, and He said *"it was worth it."* That's how Isaiah ended it (Isaiah 53:11).
It was worth it that He died for you. So why don't you give Him a chance and give Him your life this Easter? Why don't you dedicate it to Him? Because *He's worth it.* And was pierced for You.
Hallelujah 🙌 Amen.
God bless you
