To commemorate this year's , we organized a community sensitization durbar in the Northern Region focusing on this year's theme, Let’s Act On Our Commitments; End Child Labour.

It was a great honor to have the Revered Choggu Naa together with National, Regional, and District Government Officials, Religious and Political Leaders grace the occasion. Their presence made it easier for us to convey our desire to mobilize all relevant stakeholders to take up the cause of ending child labour in the area and beyond.

Our programs director, Mr. Enock Dery Pufaa, gave a remarkable speech in which he praised our nation for being the first to adopt the UN Convention on the Rights of Children, despite the fact that child labour is still a major societal issue in this country. Additionally, The Head of the Ghana Police Service's Anti-Human Trafficking Unit, DSP William Ayaregah, also reminded everyone in attendance of Ghana's child protection regulations and the need of abiding by them.
His Royal Highness, Choggu Naa, the event chairman, also assured all stakeholders of his unwavering support to battle against child labour and the protection of children's rights, believing that his influence would be helpful in garnering lots of support.

In observance of this momentous day, we at Challenging Heights recommit to putting an end to child labour and all other forms of abuse against children in Ghana. We invite all stakeholders to join us on this mission. Together, we can turn our commitments into action and ensure a brighter future for all children.
