CCPTC Alumni Impact:

CCPTC alumna Ms. Abigail Opokuaa conducted health education and screening of women on cervical and breast cancer at Asankare Methodist women as part of Mother's Day celebration activities.
28 women were screened for both breast and cervical cancer.
3 were VIA positives and were treated instantly. A woman with a breast lump was also referred to the hospital for further management. Kudos Abigail.

Today, nurses and midwives are playing a crucial role in educating women about cervical cancer prevention as well as providing screening and vaccination. They're going above and beyond to reach women where they are, like at church events and gatherings. CCPTC alumna, Bernice Boateng and her team were at the All Saints Catholic Church Akim Oda to sensitize women on cervical cancer prevention.
