The nostalgic feelings you get when you reminisce the good old day’s politicization over the modern day politics. Gone were the days where military intelligence powers, science and the ability to innovate, think to show ones dominance over others through brain battle were the order of the day. Political supremacy was on who has what best of information, technology, education, law, science and among others. Intellectual argument are geared towards patriotism and nationalism over party, group and personal interest. Currently, people are far from the substantive issues with varied motives which are either lobbying in personal or for group, organizations of interest, spy agent for foreign missions and others.” I would sponsor you to do my bidding when you get to parliament “this is attributed to those who are known as best linguist in gathering. People who enter politics today are tempered with all these things and few are those who stay clean/pure. How good is it to have your community and nation at the center of your cause to seek high public office?

We campaigned for you after winning, you are nowhere to be found. I saw honorable but he only waive at me. In parliament reality come to play. It is community /nation over pay masters. Here, decisions are unanimously agreed upon even if not in the interest of your community/nation led by two chief leaders of both sides of the house with the verdict on who shouted the loudest and had majority support. Ignorantly, the electorates who voted massively with the hope of having their man to do the bidding for the community are let down. This is where they consider the bid of the pay masters rather than they made the community/electorate believe and to understand during the campaigning. Intellectual and issue based politics where both houses engaged in brain battle in line with national interest are turn up-side down with party, we are colleagues and foolishness. Critical issues of national concerned are ignored and cat, goat, cloth, house, shoe, bag of others are discussed on national platform.

What is the stand of posterity if we continued this way? The politics of nowhere we have involved in which put threat on national resources and people. The water bodies, resources, national property, communities, birthright and people we have destroyed, sold-out in our self-interest. Why should modern politics be the easiest weapon used to destroyed companies, businesses, communities and people? It is about time to be patriotic, protect and safeguard the nation for the upcoming generation.
