Africa’s Wake-Up Call: A Plea for Peace

​The world is currently witnessing a dangerous escalation that threatens global stability. At this pivotal moment, we cannot afford to remain "fence-sitters." Africa’s current posture appears largely unproactive, yet the consequences of this war will not respect our borders.

​We believe it is time for African leaders to look beyond localized politics and issue a unified, high-level appeal for all participating nations to return to the negotiating table. This is not merely a foreign crisis; it is an impending economic earthquake.

​African governments, specifically their economic and security apparatuses- must move into their "engine rooms" immediately. We need proactive strategies to shield our nations from the inevitable shocks to trade and energy. Furthermore, the advanced technologies and infrastructure deployed in this conflict serve as a stark reminder for Africa to accelerate its own development and self-reliance.

​Finally, we call on people of faith to intercede for divine intervention. We must pray for the softening of hearts and a swift de-escalation, as the humanitarian and economic fallout will spare no one.
