WOW! Friday was HUGE 😍 - so many of you guys showed up and filled The Pit to the limit!!

We are so happy to see you all here, having fun, enjoying the music and supporting the bands. And we are proud to say that SOUND continues to be a safe space and comfortable environment for young people.

⚠️ Your parents will be glad to know that:

‼️ Sound is currently the only under 18s night on the island that allows NO adults in the venue, other than our DBS checked and trained staff.

‼️ There is obviously no alcohol available and anybody who looks like they may have been drinking is breathalysed.

‼️ We adhere closely to our full safeguarding policy at all times.

‼️ The door is run by Sound staff and we employ two licensed security guards to keep an eye on things.

‼️ With our events now selling out very quickly, and young people queueing outside, we have extended our security coverage to the queue, and strongly suggest that young people get to the venue as close to 18.30 as possible.

⏰For the last two events we were sold out by 19.15. In the event you would like to check whether we are sold out before heading towards the venue, please email [email protected] on the night.

Another Decibel Tower event for your diaries!

British punk rock trio SNAYX, hailing from the South East, have been making waves with their ferocious live performances and hard-hitting, bass-driven anthems. This Saturday - it is finally time to for Heat 1 of Metal 2 the Masses - where 4 Channel Island bands battle it out for a slot at the legendary Bloodstock Festival in the UK.

After a few weeks off from events, I'll be back this Saturday night serving up smash burgers for the 'Metal 2 the Masses' gig at the The Pit Guernsey (St James Guernsey). Including my BRAND NEW 'Headbanger' burger.

Two patties smashed on top of jalapeños with cheese, topped with smoked streaky bacon and pickled red onions and finished with my Headbanger sauce (includes chopped jalapeños and pickles, bacon bits and spicy maple syrup).

I'll be there from 7pm.

The first Decibel Tower event of the year was an absolute peach 🍑

Thanks to all the bands who really delivered some outstanding performances, from our two young bands The Deaf Donkeys and Shockwave - Guernsey Band, to the evocative Hanging Pieces EP launch and Rosemary.music riotous set. Super special thanks to Oscar - The Band for whom Guernsey wasn't ready, but now is and we want them back! and of course Static Alice who blew the roof off The Pit wth their banging set of originals!

The next DB Towers is all about Hip Hop with The Scribes and Tane from France on the 30 May.
