Suturing isn’t about copying movements.
It’s about understanding tissue.

Why does one closure need eversion?
Why does another require layered support?
Why can excessive tension damage healing?

These are the details that shape real surgical skill.

At CBME, students move beyond theory
and practice the logic behind surgical closures hands-on.

From basic knot security
to advanced suturing techniques,
every step is taught with clinical application in mind.

* 26 procedures
* Practical surgical exposure
* Guidance from experienced surgeon
* Real OT-oriented exposure

Laparoscopic surgery isn’t about force.
It’s about precision, control, and awareness, because even the smallest movement matters.

At CBME, students learn the real fundamentals behind safe surgical practice — including tissue handling, visualization, trocar placement, and energy safety.

Built for future surgeons who want confidence beyond the textbook.

You can memorize procedures for exams.
But surgical confidence is built differently.

CBME is designed for medical students who want to move beyond passive learning and understand surgery the way it exists in real life.

Not as flat textbook diagrams.
Not as lecture slides.
But as real anatomy, real instruments, real tissue handling, and real clinical decision-making.

From mastering surgical instruments and suturing principles
to understanding anatomy in three dimensions and post-op management — every module is designed to strengthen practical competence.

Same degree. Same classes. Completely different CV strength.

When it comes to residency applications, observerships, and surgical opportunities, details matter. A generic portfolio won’t make you stand out in a competitive field.

That’s why we built the CBME Surgical Skills Training Program — a structured, hands-on experience designed to bridge the gap between textbook knowledge and real surgical credibility.

Over 4 intensive training days, participants gain exposure to 26 surgical procedures across General, GI, Thoracic, Vascular, and Reconstructive Surgery.

✅ Hands-on procedural training
✅ Real hospital clinical exposure
✅ Certificate of Completion + LOR
✅ 10 students will be given an opportunity for observership
✅ Direct mentorship under experienced surgeons

From tendon repair and abdominal closure to vascular anastomosis, tracheal procedures, lung suturing, and reconstructive techniques — every session is built to strengthen your clinical confidence and elevate your surgical profile.

If someone asked you today —
“what’s your plan for the next 6 years?”
Could you answer?
Most Year 1 students can’t.
Not because they’re not working hard —
because nobody built them a framework.
CoreMED is that framework.
Wherever you are in medical school, there’s a level for you.
